Hennepin, IL | What kind of tillage are you doing? Odd question, I know. If you're 100% conventional till and have airbags now, I dont think I'd be as concerned about downforce control at this time. The Early Riser is more forgiving to excessive downforce. I'd get yourself an extra couple sets of weigh pins and set yourself up to control the airbags manually from the cab. Take that money saved and put it towards vdrive. You have the vset meters already so that's a chunk out of the way. Dont waste your money on row flow, honestly. If you cant do that right away, I would be tempted to maybe do the compressor now and run the tru counts a year or two with plans to update to vdrive when they start giving fits. No till or strip till I'd lean towards doing the compressor now. It's cheap and honestly I doubt will be worth much less if you ever decided you want to go to Dforce. | |
