All no-till, some cereal rye cover crop. 80% on bean stubble, 20% COC.
Rye Burndown and Pre:
1.5 qt Keystone LA NXT $9.15
3 oz Generic Callisto $2.29
1 qt Abundit Edge (same as PowerMax) $4.10
2 lb AMS $.50
Total: $16.04
Might run higher rate of gly on rye burndown in cooler weather.
Post:
2.75 oz Laudis $6.33
.5 lb Atz. $1.40
1/2 pint MSO $.74
1.5 Lb AMS $.38
Total: $8.85
Total $24.89
Thoughts? Can I lower the rate of the Keystone to 1.25 qt? That would save me $1.53. Any prices out of line?

I would drop the Keystone and replace with 1.5 pints Gen Dual and another 3 oz Gen Callisto would save $2 acre and would be a far superior program .Also would up Laudis to 3 oz. |
