I’m also in the camp that doubles kill yield. When we went to hyd drive and singulation/spacing greatly improved we picked up a lot of yield. I’d much rather take 2% skips vs 2% doubles. The double plants seem to be close to a normal size ear then a runt on the 2nd plant. A skip I have a better chance of getting 2 cobs on from what I’ve seen or a larger then average ear.
