W Texas
Also depends a lot on expected yearly market fluctuation.

Folks are always looking for pee-wee's this time of year to hit the Xmas highs.

Larger feeders are in better demand in the fall for wheat pasture and to hit the April highs.

Locally on the Southern Plains, a lot will depend on wheat pasture conditions in the fall. In the spring, wheat pasture is more dependable and then the prices on the Southern Plains will depend somewhat on wheat prices, which will factor into decisions on graze-out vs. grain.

So no easy or short answer.
