There is NO UNLOCK for GLONASS on any of the current Ag Leader GPS receivers (6000, 6500, 7500). It is a standard feature. You will see GLONASS when running on WAAS, TerraStar, and RTK.

Why on WAAS? WAAS does not contain GLONASS corrections. You could theoretically include GLONASS sats in the constellation while using WAAS, but this would only be advisable if you have a serious shortage of GPS satellites, because you'll be introducing error by including satellites for which WAAS can't/doesn't correct.

Here's my take on it; others may feel differently
WAAS + sufficient GPS sats = good
WAAS + insufficient GPS sats = bad
WAAS + insufficent GPS sats + GLONASS = probably better than "bad", but not "good"
WAAS + sufficient GPS sats + GLONASS = probably worse than "good", but not "bad"

So you really want to run only GPS sats with WAAS, unless you just don't have enough. If you don't have enough, then you won't be able to run at all, so adding GLONASS in that situation will at least let you run.

Some receivers don't even have the option to enable GLONASS with WAAS.
