SW Indiana | Recently bought a nice 12 row 1770 and considering a 20/20 system. I know nothing other than there are 3 generations of monitors. Planter has e sets and bullseye tubes if it makes any difference.
All I've ever known or used is a computrak 250. I would like to be able to monitor the planter (singulation, vacuum, ground pressure), track varieties by field, and then eventually be able to track yeilds in the combine by variety.
Plan is to learn about the planter components and cost first, combine maybe either later in the year or next year.
Do I buy a used monitor or other parts? | |
