central mich

There is very little brand name available today in aftermarket. 99% of the after markets are made in China or India with most made in China.
So in after market you are talking Bosch type, Denso type, Delco type. etc. There are genuine OEM available for about 4 times the cost of the knockoffs.

I do not know where the genuine OEM product is made but it would not be a surprise if their product was made in China as well. Delco used to have rebuilding facilities in my area but they are all closed now. Delco Remy was in Indiana and I am sure those plants are closed. Signal in Indiana is closed. Delco might have a plant in Mexico???
I don't if Ford or Chrysler have any production left at all. Is Bosch made in Germany prob not. Same with Denso, made in Japan? Prob not.

But you have to a bit careful with the China product as it does vary even though they all look the same.
Our supplier for dealers only does a good job selecting quality import product and their warranty is no questions
asked.
