One way to get rid of it is moving to one side about six inches for next crop and then move over to opposite side the next year, kind of the nature of the beast in strip till. We tend to end up with a sunken strip after planting because soil gets pushed on top of adjacent residue, by late summer rain washes dirt back through the residue and strip is level with field again. | |
