| Scintillation is connected to ionospheric conditions and the way satellite signals are coming down from the sky to our antennas.

I have not found any good articles that would tell how this Trimble "scintillation mode" works, but I suppose it will fix something if scintillation is strong.
As far as I have understood this scintillation might mainly happen near equator at dawn or dusk and also way up north any time of a day.
Most likely it is not an issue in Mid-West?
I have always left Scintillation Mode OFF on my RTK Trimble receivers.
I also would be most interested to learn more about this issue if anybody knows... | |
