Subject: another dog lost to cancer

central PA

My last four dogs died from cancers. I strongly believe the flea and tick chemicals used are the cause. My neighbor just lost their dog to cancer, they used chemicals to control the bugs. The companies strongly deny this claim, and they have their research to back it. What a joke.

My newest dog will not get any chemicals on it. Coincidently, my dog has dry skin. Through research we found coconut oil to be very helpful with that skin condition. But I have noticed there aren't any fleas on the dog. I comb it regularly with a flea comb. I wonder if the smell of coconut keeps fleas away. Wouldn't that be neat if it did.

I must say its an individual choice not to use the chemicals. A dog is totally dependent on the owner. So you want to make good choices. I had her vaccinated for lime disease. And yes, I do pick ticks off.
