Cherokee County, Northwest Iowa | Now I know that it just wasn't me that hated to part with those encyclopedias-folks bought a set in 1964, no idea what they cost. I do remember that my father probably got his moneys worth out of them though, many a cold winter evening he would grab one of them and just sit down and start reading them. I didn't have the heart to throw them away when cleaning out the old home place, still sitting on the shelf out there. |
