Oshkosh, WI | Any reason I can't finish Holsteins on 20% wet distillers, 20% Bakery waste,50% corn screenings, and 7.5% wheat straw? I have been feeding cracked high moisture corn out of a harvestore which I know is great feed but these alternative ingredients are so much cheaper. I think I can get similar average daily gains and feed efficiency for significantly less cost.
I would just blow the screenings into the harvestore as they became available. | |
