NC Kansas | More of a machinery question but thought y’all could help. We are planning to chop oats for ourselves and some others this spring. 2-300 ac. Is it possible to direct cut them? Have a 13’ pickup head but am looking for a way to avoid swathing and raking.. Have been told a kemper won’t do the job very well without plugging up. Is there a way to mount a swather head or Draper or something to the front? Chopper is a NH FX45. Budget is limited so won’t be buying anything new. Thanks for the help.
