The idea looks great but the Devil is in the details. Someone must accurately mix the products, clean and install the proper spray nozzles and monitor the application. When a spray is released from a spray boom it will move downwind as it falls to the target. If you have constant wind velocity from pass to pass and constant flying height the deposit from each pass will overlap uniformly. If flying height and wind velocity vary from pass to pass you will have very uneven application.

How much yield will you lose from under and over application? What will be the value of this yield loss?

About 30 years back I worked with a few ultra lite aircraft that were trying to spray crops. The concept was a joke!
