MO | Personally, I think it's a great thing. I know which end of that I'm on. Seed isn't the only input that has a large spread in costs between operations. The more people that overpay for seed and inputs, the less people there is that are competitive. In either renting or buying land. I don't have to compete against them when they are already knocking themselves out. Sounds terrible, but that's the way it is. Everyone has the same opportunity, some just don't capitalize on it. Your seed pricing example shows that perfectly. | |
