| Just because your short of weight, doesn’t mean the market is...
Went from negative basis to positive basis back to negative basis this week. In north and south. That’s very disappointing in my opinion. How can we be in weather market, short of cattle, increased demand and still not have a positive basis?
I think I know this answer, time will tell. I’ve been wrong before...
As far as being faded? That’s laughable...I don’t usually take too steep of a position. Thought market would come up to this number all fall long. Didn’t think it would take this long though. Short June at 117.56.
I’ll throw in the large spec money is already net long to last year levels in February while holding a relatively small short position. I’ll put my money on a top is near any day of the week knowing that.
