North Central Illinois | You’re not killing the crop. You’re spot on. COC can be done with minimal yield drag on the right soils with the right management. Weather is the biggest fact and COC acres will show stress quicker and take less of it than COB. We are set to go more corn with tillage complete and all of our UAN bought. We have storage for COC UAN should we decide to go beans and not use it. I like flexibility. I would rather grow the beans and things have improved. If bean market were to continue to go up it would be a pretty easy decision to stay with beans. | |
