Subject: RE: Mac computer problem

North of London
I really do not think it is a problem from the internet supplier as other gadgets work OK even another computer in another building, a laptop and an iPad as well as phones seem to be Ok using the same WiFi network in the house.
I am thinking something with the update to the new Mojave operating system is at the root of the problem as both machines giving us trouble were updated at the same time.
Do we have something set wrong or is it at the bottom of the operating system.
Unfortunately we do not get an automatic report to send out when we can not connect and have to restart.

My wife's computer did give her a report to send because Safari would not close when she tried restarting to get the internet signal but doubt if the report went out since she was not connected until after she restarted the machine.

Kind of annoying to sit down and have to restart at least once or several times to get a signal.

50% of the time when you come back you get on to one site and usually the second and then it bombs out with the message that you are not connected to the internet.
This morning first time on it seemed to work OK but then I was away for 5 minutes and had to restart to get a connection.

Something is just not connecting correctly and our in house IT specialists is only able to visit on occasion as his life is busy where he lives an hour away.
Hopefully he can find something when he visits the next time but is at a loss what to do from our explanations.

My hope here was someone else may have had a similar situation to pass on some info.

I will try to remember to post when we finally get it sorted out.
