| Isn't the simplest interpretation that soybeans are finding their new equilibrium? It's dry in Brazil but too early to say how dry. The Chinese are buying but it's too early to say how long and how much. The preliminary round of trade talks have concluded without apparent incident but there still remains very substantial questions.
In the same way that the market hedged and priced in the Xi-Trump meeting, it's hedging new factors.
Isn't the market just saying that $9.20 is a comfortable price at present? | |
