Finally this past week i had a new territory rep explain to me that the KTV in the Kubota is unlike any other on the market. Its built differently then the AGCO CVT, the JOhn deere IVT and the CASE CVT. Because of this and how the software was designed to control it it just acts differently then anything else on the market.
Just an FYI. That transmission comes from ZF in Germany. Kubota is not the first to use it. As I understand Deere's first CVT models where this same transmission, and there is an Agco variant out there too. It seems to work just fine for many people, but I'd agree there are some situations we can't seem to get it dialed in like we want.
any bigger Kubota coming in the near future?
