Scranton | I remember 1979 as a 12 year old...record crop. No room. Coop was open till noon each day so they could dry corn....lineup would be around the coop down a few short roads out to the county shed...probably most of a mile. Took all morning plus to get dumped. Dad was in his strait truck and his helper was in the tractor and wagons...helper came up for coffee with dad and I was so proud to run back and move the tractor one spot forward every five minutes or so.
