Jim, how did the 2nd year crop yield? It's been 30+ pct less than 1st year cotton around here. What would you attribute that much difference on?
. Seen 20-30% less yield than last year on those fields. It was wet last year, as it was this year, so weather wasn't the problem. I noticed there wasn't the boll load on those plants during the growing season, as the year before. Cotton is a big user of Pottassium, and although soil tests may not show that it is needed, I've been told and read enough, I think it needs to be added regardless. That's the only thing I can come up with for the reduced yield.
