Leesburg, Ohio | Yes, a pull-type can certainly be set up to do high-rate application, and can have a very large tank. And it is cheaper IF you don't count the cost of a tractor.
I cannot imagine a tractor riding better than a decent self-propelled sprayer. Our Deere 4830 rides like a Cadillac, even on rough ground, even at 20 mph (I usually spray at 13-17). Our former tractor and pull-type rig ran at 10mph tops, and killed my back. | |
