Western Iowa | For sure don't go to heavy of clutch. Probably best bet is a stock clutch again set up correctly.
Maybe someone knows of a specific clutch that isn't jumpy, but back in the day I never could find one when I was driving 2nd gen stuff. I had one I think was a south bend, but not the real heavy duty one that was pretty decent to drive, but almost dangerous to back up to trailers, flat racks and anhydrous tanks. Just too damn jumpy.
I gave up back then on the 'pulling clutches'. The darn things always had the clutch plate last, but would break a finger or trash a throw out bearing. I could get 100-125k typically out of a stock clutch, but ended up being the same or sooner with the aftermarket, but due to different reasons.
