Subject: Zinc in starter

NC Kansas
We’ve always ran chelated zinc in our corn starters. I think its ran about $4/acre for 2 quarts.
We have fine textured soils with good O.M. Probablh wouldn’t see a response to zinc if we left it out.

My question is, have you ran cheaper forms such as ammoniated zinc and got along fine?
