Subject: RE: ADM explosions

The one in Clinton was a real tragedy, one fireman dead and another critically injured. We haul there a lot and always wonder about the risks. One time a number of years ago the leg exploded and scared the daylights out of a number of truckers. Parts of the plant go back to the early 1900's with additions ever since. Some of my friends tell me that working conditions are much better now than years ago. As we all know corn dust is a serious hazard. They were taking corn today, I don't think that part of the plant was damaged.

Being a fireman can at times be dangerous and this was one of them. He leaves a widow and a little girl.
