First, please notice that I didn't quote you here ;-)
Sometimes I quote, sometimes I don't. Depends on the content of what I'm replying to. Seen it too many times where someone says something that is a bit....eggheaded(?), then someone replies to them (without quoting), then the guy before comes back and edits or deletes content, changing the whole dynamic of the conversation.
We had one here a month or so ago that was a running arguement, then the "egghead" deleted replies, making the guy replying look like a jerk, when in fact, he was only setting it straight, and was almost impossible to follow what the whole discussion was about.
Like I said, not all replies need a quote, but there are times when it's awfully handy. | |
