“These are the times that try men's souls.” | Poverty, my father in law taught me the sack trick long time ago. Goes back to the days when they had no trucks other than a stock rack 2 ton. So family car was used for a lot of farm duties. I remember then came out with Rancheros and El Camnios. It was quite a deal when a ranch could aford a 4 wheel drive truck. All our farms still have loading docks to unload horses and cattle from 2 ton trucks. Plus load a tractor on a truck.
I told Puff about it one time, when he put calf in truck. Once you get calf in sack, take a bale twine and sew top shut so calf cant crawl out.
