As far as fertilizer there are decades of replicated trials from all the land grants showing that x amt of fert changes the soil test values x amt and x amt of yield removes x amt of nutrients. Proven science that’s being refined as money allows. It’s not perfect but it has a firm footing to stand on.

Soil conditioner? What are we going for? What are the issues we need or think we need to change in our system? Define those and then design a testing procedure to show how these products work. And by “work” we need to see similar responses 75-80% of the time to be reliable?
