| That looks similar to a Behlen. Behlen has two key holes to put the top end of the chain in. Small ring in the middle/ bottom has key holes also. This lets the chain be adjusted so cows or calves can reach a bale. Setting the chains high stops cows from pulling hay out. Setting them low lets calves reach the bale. Dont see near as much problems with bales needing torn apart, and yet they keep hay in pretty good. | |
