We've planted tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of acres with a 2wd 7700 or a 4430 on a 16-30. The only time it doesn't work is when you get stuck in the mud....pulling out is easier then digging all the openers out...thats a 'pay me now or pay me later' thing.
