I would pay him for the corn yield times a decent local price. He doesn't have any harvest expense so that's a plus on his side. You probably chopped the worst corn that was available which would be a plus on his side. I would want him to have a good experience...6-7 acres is helping you. my .02

Saw silage advertised on craigs list for $100/ton....WOW I wonder if they sell any???
