I can say they are persistent about driving attendance. I attended once I think 9 years ago, still get stuff in the mail almost weekly, plus got a phone call last week from a guy trying to sign me up for this year. The hot topic 9 years ago was cover crops, so if it’s a fad that is one long fad. I’m all no till and use some covers because I’m back in EQIP.
We did cover crops back in the 70s and 80s so its nothing new. But we did it on early season crops not corn or soybeans. For us cover crops on corn and soybeans is pretty much worthless imo and just an added expense with minimal to no return.
