Yes, if you can find a hone that matches the profile of the teeth, or at least comes very close.
You must keep the sides of the blades that run against each other as close to perfectly flat as you can. Sharpen/hone the scallops, then deburr the flat side, but do not put any angle on the teeth from the back, or they will not cut as well.
