Sheldon, IA | I have a customer with twin Rawson Accu-plant drives with controller on a custom planter. He would like to run these with an insight for variable rate planting. At the same time he wants to run Seed command planter monitoring, and air clutch shutoffs. From what I understand, the Insight can only run these drives through the Rawson controller with serial; it cannot hook direct to the drives. Has anyone tried to direct drive these with an Insight? I have a question out to Ag Leader asking if it is possible to run Seed command and serial control at the same time. If I can't make this work then I will probably have a pair of Rawson Accu-Plant drives for sale. If anyone is intersted in them and their controller contact me. | |
