Subject: RE: Gravity wagon for filling drill

SW Ohio
Been using a steel tube and steel auger for many many years, same one. Never noticed any problems with seed damage(but don't look too close, just don't see much problem) BUT it runs slow and FULL. For comparison we fill and empty the regular bin with augers, seldom see more than a 2% increase in splits versus the same beans direct off the combine. One customer has worn out augers and runs them way fast and seldom full, lots of damage in those.
