NCSD
2 years on ours and have never taken the overshot beater cover out. Ran wheat beans and corn through it. The spinners have two kits for them. A “small grain” kit and a “corn” kit. We ran the first fall with the corn paddles in on beans and corn. Did alright but needed to have the spinner speed and width maxed out to cover 40’ swath. This year ran 300 acres of beans with the corn kit and it struggled to spread the full 40’. During a rain I switched and put the small grain paddles in. Went from having to have everything maxed out to barely get 40’ to easily reaching with everything slowed down. I’d say now it would spread 50’. Takes about 20 min for one person to switch the paddles out. I will continue to switch them.
