Have you looked into replacing the truck hitch with a regular ball?
It would save you changing the hitch on your trailer...
And just for years down the road; If you ever want to use a different trailer, or upgrade trailers, or resell your truck or trailer... it would be kind of oddball with an inverted ball hitch.
