Texas/New Mexico Stateline | I can't say about Illinois, but I know when I had Texas Farm Truck plates I can run anywhere in the nation, but would have to buy trip permits for each state I entered.
And once I left the 150 mile radius I would have to log my hours.
I can go freely anywhere in TX with farm plates. Unlimited miles. Just have to follow the hours of service rules.
Your own state rules, no limitations on mileage. Most states will recognize your farm plates, but you will have to comply with DOT CDL requirements and have trip permits.

Under interstate agreements of reciprocity, the farm plate is accepted in every state adjoining Illinois . Other states most
probably also accept Illinois “farm plated” trucks, but call ahead to be certain. |
