| We recently brought on author and ex-professional poker play Annie Duke on a webinar to discuss decision making and how to combat biases that influence all of us.
She wrote a book called "Thinking in Bets: Making Smarter Decisions When You Don't Have All the Facts".
Much of her message is highly applicable to farming given that there is rarely a sure thing when you're presented with a grain marketing or agronomy decision.
One big takeaway for me was the fact that being smart is not enough to combat biased decision making.
Also, many people choose to make no decision because they don't want to be wrong. That is a decision in itself.
