Subject: Investing for forward time travelers

Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
FWIW:

The 1st small steps to forward time travel by mankind have already happened. Astronauts frequently demonstrate those small steps by returning to earth younger than expected by folks that remained earthbound while the astronauts were gone.In other words, astronauts have traveled forward in earthbound folks time. Here is a NASA link that explains astronaut forward time travel:

Should serious forward time travel technology become available to humans with deep pockets, they will need a fresh look at investing strategy to ensure that the investments they make before embarking on a forward time travel trip will hedge (cover) the cost and risk of that trip.

That investment strategy may be similar to strategy used by world class value investors like Warren Buffet/Charlie Munger, Benjamin Graham, ... who choose investments that they (somehow) determine have long term value, buy them, and forget them for long periods of time (earthbound stock market time of course).

The difficulty with that strategy is finding investments that will turn out to be world class value investments while the investor is on a forward time travel trip. Warren Buffett's advise is to buy US stock market index funds if we are unable to choose value stocks. Of course, US government will need to pass and enforce laws that forbid forward time travel by US stock market itself. Absent those laws, market quote time bars that are shifting time may defeat all investing, including forward time travel investing.
