Manitoba, Canada | I’ve had both and I agree with the above. Also, with a TBT you have to drive the tractor quite a bit farther into a corner. It takes a bit of getting used to but it is a non issue after a while. With a TBT if you have a short wet spot often you can get the tractor back on dry ground before the drill gets to the mud. That can be a benefit. If you get a TBH stuck you can just pull the pin and drive the tractor out, hopefully. I often carry a tow rope along and pull the drill out myself. With a TBT there is a lot of weight on the hitch and pulling the pin is not a good idea. A TBH with free wheeling front casters can drag the drill downhill on a side slope a bit more than either a steerable TBH or a TBT. | |
