E can’t be 0 or 1.
A has to be greater than 4.
After that I would need to stare a long time.

Agree E can't be 0 since 0 + 0 = 0 and H cannot be zero since zero has already been used.
P needs to be less than 5 to avoid a carry into the 100,000 place. in the total.
H must be even since an even + even = even AND odd + odd = even.
Don't follow why A must be greater than 4
Don't follow why E can't be 1, 1 + 1 = 2 so H would be 2 (seems OK). |
