Subject: Is it a Key with a Chip?

Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463
Is it a a key with a chip?

After my Jeep was stolen last summer, it was found without the keys.

Did some inquiring.
Will have to be towed to a Jeep dealer or locksmith that can make a new chip key.

Cost of the key should be about $400-, maybe more.
Well that was better than what I had heard, I think here on NAT - about $700-

I was lucky. The fellow was arrested about a day later and my keys were in his pocket.

Pretty sure I do have a second chip key for it, but spent a good part of the day looking for, no luck.
When purchased this Jeep only had the one key. Since I was worried about misplacing that only key, I had a new one made. Need a locksmith or someone in the key cutting business that has spent the several thousand to get the equipment to make chip key copies. Cost was $80-
