80% of my ground will produce more with too much rain over too little rain. All of Illinois doesn't have the water holding capacity that the rest of the world thinks that it does. The problem with our wetter than normal years is the fact that it generally rains above normal April and May, then tails off but still producing a above normal rainfall year.
