| The 1990 JD 4455 MFWD with 1904 original hours, 1 owner, sold for $90,500 yesterday on Maring Auction consignment sale in Kenyon, MN. The buyer was from Wis. $90,500 is the highest auction price ever on 4455 sold without loader (Oct. '09 a 4455 with 1423 hours and JD loader sold for $94,500 on farm auction in Winner, SD).

The reason for the low hours....the city of Kenyon, MN bought the tractor via special grant back in 1990, only used to move some manure (quit doing that after number of years). They kept it shedded all these years.
Right before it started selling guy asked me if he thought he could get it for < $45K.....I tried to let him down easy. Bidding opened at $50K I think. Tremendous interest in the tractor.
