Subject: Update re: Buick battery drain

Oklahoma
'95 Park Ave Buick, battery would drain down after a couple days of sitting. Used a multimeter and was able to detect @ 200mA draw. Went through and pulled fuses till it dropped to @ 20-30mA. That fuse was under the dash....9C. It fuses the circuit for the chime, radio, and dash cluster. Took the fuse out, so now my battery wont drain down. But I have no radio, no fan, no heater, no nothin.

What procedure should I use to narrow down which component is causing my problem? When looking at a wiring diagram what should I be looking for to check? Its totally stock, stock GM radio and everything. And I am pretty sure the chime is not working. Not sure if that means anything or not??

Thanks!
