All flat land, no hills
It's not the power to pull it, it's the power and weight to stop it on the road that you need to consider. We pulled a 42.5' seeder for years. Demo'd it with a 8320 and it had plenty of power but not enou weight. Bought it and hooked it to a 926 Fendt. It had beyond enough power and much better braking bit still didn't have enough weight plus the extra speed didn't help. Rarely pulled it at its top speed. Upgraded planting tractors to a Quadtrac and finally felt safe on the road. The Quad was overkill but I'd say a 4 wheel drive of any size or age would be better than a mfwd.
Best advise I can give if you have a seeder with the tank in front is to not road it with the tanks completely empty. 50 bushels is enough to keep the air carts wheels planted on the ground and takes the wiggle out.
