The later 2005 had the xp row unit with the cast shank. You would want to get a 2005 or later at least. 2009 they went to seedstar 2 and factory row clutches were available. 2011 was the first year seedstar xp was available and have active down force option. If you plan to do a precision overhaul I would just get an 05-07 and save some money
