2 ways I could think to do this. 1: Map it with any monitor and import it into a program and save it digitally. 2: Print off a map and mark locations of outlets along with the GPS coordinates of those outlets.
This is essentially what I have done. While making the tile map, I make a rough one with pencil and paper and stop and write down the Lat/Lon of important points. I use letters of the alphabet on the hand drawn map and make a table of the Lat/Lon values.
Later I process the GPS data to make a map on the computer. I print the map on paper as well as save it on the computer. I then use my hand drawn map to write the letters on the important intersection points etc. I also type out the table of Lat/Lon and print it so that it will be more readable than my hand written table. I sometimes type up a page of "notes" that I think just might be handy in the future. I make several copies of all of this and I keep some copies in my fire vault.
This means that if and when I need to find those points again, I can use the Lat/Lon with most any GPS system. If the original software goes out of date (in my case it has), the Lat/Lon can still be used with another system.
